Troubleshooting Steps
If your PC is turning on but you don’t see anything on your monitor, try these steps:
- Make sure your display cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) is securely connected to the graphics card, not the motherboard.
- If possible, test both the HDMI and DisplayPort connections on your graphics card.
- Make sure your monitor is set to the correct input (e.g., HDMI or DisplayPort). If your monitor has an "Auto-Detect" feature, ensure it’s enabled.
- Try using a different display cable to rule out cable issues.
- If you have access to another monitor, connect it to check if the issue is with your monitor.
- Loosen the GPU Cover:
- Unscrew the GPU cover tab (circled in the image) at the back of the PC.
- Slide the cover to the right to remove it.

- Remove the Two Screws Securing the GPU:
- Unscrew the two screws (highlighted in the image) holding the GPU in place.
- Keep the screws in a safe place, as you'll need them later to reinstall the GPU.

- Unplug the Video Card
- Locate the power cable connected to the graphics card (shown in the image).
- Press down on the latch and gently pull the cable out to disconnect it.

- Push back the release latch to release the GPU from the locked state.
- Find the PCIe release latch near the base of the graphics card (circled in the image).
- Push the latch down (or to the side, depending on your motherboard model) to unlock the GPU.

- Remove the GPU
- Carefully pull the GPU out of the PCIe slot.
- You shouldn’t need to use much force—gently wiggle it out if needed to avoid damaging the slot or GPU.

- Test with Integrated Graphics
- Plug your monitor’s HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the motherboard (highlighted in the image).
- Turn on the PC and check if it displays output using the integrated graphics.
