Updating & Optimizing Your PC

1. Check for Windows Updates often

2. Download the latest Graphics Drivers for your PC

1. Identify your GPU:

  • Right-click the Start Menu and select Task Manager.
  • Click More Details at the bottom of the Task Manager window.
  • Navigate to the Performance tab and scroll down to GPU to find out whether your graphics card is from NVIDIA or AMD.

If for some reason you’re having trouble with downloading the Graphics Drivers, it could be because a Windows Update forced an older driver version. You can do a clean driver install using DDU Uninstaller

3. Check our software page for new BIOS updates

Depending on when you purchased your PC, you might need to run BIOS updates, especially before any upgrades. Typically Blackout PCs come pre-packaged with the latest drivers.
