Are Blackout PCs upgradable?
All Desktop Computers have interchangeable parts. However, there are limitations:
- Compatibility: If your PC uses an Intel CPU, you can only upgrade to other Intel CPUs, and the same goes for AMD systems. Switching between Intel and AMD would require changing your motherboard as well.
- Motherboard Chipsets: CPU upgrades might require a motherboard upgrade too, as newer CPUs often need newer chipsets. For example, Intel often changes out the chipset. The latest CPU will likely require a RAM generation upgrade.

Power Supply Capacity: All Blackout PCs come with at least 500W power supply units (PSUs), which support most hardware upgrades. However, if you plan to upgrade to a high-end graphics card, such as the latest Nvidia or AMD GPUs, you may need to upgrade to a higher-wattage PSU to meet the increased power demands.
You can easily upgrade storage and memory without worrying about power supply capacity. Our PCs typically have four spare SATA ports on the motherboard, which allows for up to four 2.5” SSDs or traditional Hard Drives.
Do your PCs come pre-installed with an operating system?
All our PCs come pre-installed with either Windows 10 Pro or Windows 11 Pro, pre-activated with a Windows key.
Can I request custom builds?
No, we currently do not offer custom build services.
Are your PCs compatible with VR headsets?
Yes, all our PCs are VR Ready. Be sure to use the original Meta USB cable to ensure compatibility. Be sure to fully update your graphics drivers outlined in the Updating & Optimizing Guide
What is the warranty included on Blackout PCs?
All our PCs come with a one year limited warranty covering any manufacturer defects. We also have a 30 day return period to ensure you’re happy with your purchase.
How many monitors do your PCs support?
We guarantee at least two monitor outputs with your PC. At the very least, one HDMI & one Display Port output. If you need more, you can run a splitter.
What happens if a component fails under warranty?
If a component fails under warranty, reach out to us ASAP and we will make arrangements for a replacement part to be sent out.
Do you offer customer support for software issues?

No, your PC will not come included with any monitor display cables.
Can I run an emulator on this PC?
Yes, you should be able to run most console emulation on this PC without any hardware limitations.
Are Blackout PCs plug-n-play?
Yes, our PCs are pre-built. All you need to do is remove the protective foam, plug in your power cable & HDMI/DP, and power on.
